George Manassa: Co-Founder and CEO

Inspired by the spirituality of St Josemaria Escriva, I have spent the past decade working in project management to bring God to the secular world in the midst of the ordinary circumstances of daily life. My work at The Catholic Toolbox is targeted to those in the professional, political and social spheres which seek to drive out faith altogether. A firm believer in delivering results within the construction and property sector, I am trying to fuse these entrepreneurial and business oriented mindsets to the Church’s approach to implement the New Evangelisation effectively now and for the future.

With the help of my co-founder and creative director Akita Sanchez, the Catholic Toolbox Radio show provides practical strategies for Catholic individuals and organisations to implement their faith personally and to improve evangelical performance around Australia and abroad. My sister site and podcast, The Rite of Manhood complements my endeavors at the Catholic Toolbox by uniting men of all faiths and ethos for a common purpose, which is to restore authentic masculinity today.

Akita Sanchez: Co-Founder and Creative Director

The Catholic Toolbox is a project that I have assisted in growing with George. Initially the project was supposed to run for one season of Lent, but obviously has transpired through and is now in its second year. God has shown us that there is still a lot to do in His vineyard and we are happy to continue this wonderful project. My main role is in marketing and developing merchandise for TCT. I also make cameo appearances on the show as both co-host, guest star and panelist. (I have been told that I have a voice for radio which has come in handy for our podcast listeners who want the hard topics but need it in a relaxing tone)

Outside TCT, I consider myself a world traveler trained in fashion design. My main motivation in life is my Faith as a Catholic. I sing Gregorian chant and enjoy being creative through cooking and art. I also thrive in extroverted moments as much as I do in my alone time creating or absorbing culture in its many forms.
